The Defy Advanced Pro 1 build is a stunner, made for long days in the saddle. Designed specifically for endurance efforts, the Defy Advanced Pro 1 is surprisingly ideal for all types of riding––from work commutes to training days to long-distance races. Compliance is built in with the D-Fuse seat post and SLR D-Fuse handlebars to smooth out rough roads and imminent fatigue from long rides. The Defy Advanced Pro 1 is built on a lightweight Advanced Composite frame and fork, resulting in an optimal balance of stiffness and comfort.

The standout feature of the Defy Advanced Pro 1 build is the Shimano Ultegra Di2 drivetrain. The entire groupset is composed of Shimano Ultegra components for optimizing compatibility and efficiency in control. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 electronic drivetrain simplifies the mechanisms that keep you rolling with ergonomic levers, low-profile derailleurs, and plenty of gearing options with the 12-speed cassette.

The Defy Advanced Pro 1 features the durable Giant SLR Carbon Disc WheelSystem and Giant Gavia Fondo 0 tubeless tires featuring Race Shield Puncture Protection; venture on or off the beaten track with this lightweight, versatile pairing.

Extras include a computer mount and fender mounts to commit to going the distance.

The Defy Advanced 1 includes the sleek, lightweight Advanced-Grade Composite chassis with Giant’s D-Fuse composite seat post, adding compliance. The Defy Advanced 1 features Shimano 105 Di2 drivetrain and brakes, an impressive set of components on a road bike at this price point. The Shimano 105 Di2 electronic groupset makes shifting through the 12-speed range of gears a breeze. Shimano 105 Di2 hydraulic brakes offer powerful control so you can push the pace of the Defy Advanced 1.
