Santa Cruz Hightower

Santa Cruz Hightower Top Tier Build

The latest and greatest Hightower build is the X01 AXS RSV. Start with a Carbon CC frame––Santa Cruz's lightest frame option––and RSV Carbon wheels paired with i9 hubs. SRAM AXS gives this build an electronic drivetrain that isn't afraid of adventure. A FOX 36 Float Factory 150mm fork and Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock combine with VPP to tackle all terrain. And if all those features on one bike aren't enough to sway you, the Hightower 3 X01 AXS RSV hovers just over 30 pounds.

Santa Cruz Hightower Options

All Hightower 3 trail bikes don carbon frames and SRAM drivetrains. If you’re looking to save some money and don't mind a couple of extra pounds, the R build has you covered. Carbon C is designed in the same factory as Carbon CC and offers the same durability while adding approximately half a pound to the frame weight. The Hightower 3 R rolls on Raceface rims, SRAM hubs, and the crowd's favorite––Maxxis Minions. For a fraction of the sticker price, you’ll get a trusty build that is capable of bringing your enduro daydreams to life.

You've got to get up to get down, so choose a bike that can do both well. The Santa Cruz Hightower is a mid-travel trail bike that loves a rowdy descent. With 145mm of rear travel and 150mm of front travel balanced with Virtual Pivot Point (VPP™) Suspension, the Hightower optimizes trail pedaling efficiency and techy enduro descents. The Hightower 3 suspension is refined with an improved leverage curve, heightened sensitivity, purposeful tuning, and high/low flip chip adaptations.

Whether you ride a small frame or an extra large frame, Santa Cruz has designed each size to offer proportional geometry with consideration to headtube angle, bottom bracket height, chainstay length, seat angle, and handlebar setup.

The Hightower 3 is Santa Cruz’s “greatest hit of engineering.”

With a full carbon lineup of build kits and 29” wheels, what more could you ask from a bike chomping at the bit to descend yet plenty capable of comfortably pedaling to the top for another run?
