Most riders know Transition for their send-worthy trail and enduro bikes or beefed-up downhill rigs. The Transition Spur opens up a new realm of sending: “all-country." Sitting in the sweet spot between a Cross Country bike and a Trail bike, down country, or as Transition calls it, “all country," is for riders who want XC pedaling efficiency paired with downhill capability, akin to trail bikes. The Spur is effortless on the climbs and beyond capable on the downhill, ready for a wide range of riding styles and trail types.

The Spur features a revised version of Transition’s GiddyUp suspension system––less hardware contributes to a lighter weight, thanks to the flex stay rear triangle design. The Spur gains incredible efficiency with a 120mm fork and shock, with the option for a 100mm shock if you want to lighten things up a bit. An adjustable sag range of 25-35% adds versatility to the Spur’s unique positioning in the down-country realm. Racing cross country, where efficiency is key: adjust the sag for a firm and active ride; aiming for flow trails and jump lines: add suppleness with a simple adjustment. The Spur is capable of spanning the full range between XC and Trail riding.

With a full carbon lineup, lifetime frame warranty, and integrated frame protection, it’ll be hard not to make this your one bike for everything. Extremely capable pedaling efficiency is complimented with a no-compromise downhill experience. The Spur achieves optimal performance with Speed Balanced Geometry. The slack short travel design with reduced fork offset, short stem, and steep seat tube angle lends to a balanced and skillful ride experience with stability at speed and impressive maneuverability.
