Yeti’s answer to a do-it-all short travel bike is the SB 120. This is the ultimate trail bike, capable of playfully riding the line between a cross country rocket and an enduro rig. Head to the Cascade, Washington alpine one weekend and Moab, Utah desert the next. Wherever you’re riding, the SB 120 is ready to roll. With 130mm fork and 120mm travel on the rear, you’ll send in style with the right amount of travel to move through rough terrain while still being able to sprint across the flats.
The next generation of pivot suspension design is Switch Infinity, offering heightened sensitivity to adapt to how you’re moving and what you’re moving through. Like all Yeti mountain bikes, the SB 120 comes in size-specifc geometry resulting in consistent torsional stiffness and flex, no matter the frame size. The SB 120 is agile on single track, stable at high speeds, and is dressed to impress on a wide range of trails.
Yeti SB120 Top Tier Build
With 5 different build kit options, the TURQ Series tops out with Sram XX1 Eagle AXS, Fox Factory 34 FIT4 Fork, DT Swiss Carbon wheelset (upgrade option for all build kits), and race ready tires by Maxxis. The TURQ carbon layup equates to the lightest weight trail bikes in the Yeti lineup. The SB 120 T4 components are top notch.
The C Series build kits offer the option between Shimano SLX and Sram GX, both with FOX Performance shocks with the option to upgrade to FOX Factory Suspension. C1 & C2 build kits roll on Crank Brothers Systhesis Enduro wheelsets. For almost half the price of the top tier build, you’ll still come in around 30 pounds! Pretty impressive!
